In 2019, I built the first version of Bank M’khonde. It was a small app made for a problem that most people never think about: village savings and loan groups keeping track of everything by hand, in paper ledger books, with rubber stamps and carbon copy receipts.
It worked. But looking back now, it was clearly a first attempt. It solved the obvious problems and left a lot on the table. This year I went back and rebuilt it properly, from the ground up
