Every year in July, Kamuzu Academy hosts secondary schools from across Malawi which compete in the National Science Fair. One of the schools this year was Chibavi CDSS. The project for Chibavi CDSS was specialised android calculators. With my assistance, three students from the school developed five specialised calculators. The calculators were made to perform specific calculations. One of the calculators is called salary calculator.
What the calculator can do
It can calculate
- Net salary from basic salary (annual or monthly)
- Total Income tax
- Pension contribution
- Basic salary (monthly or annual)
- Salary increment from increment percentage.
All these calculations can be done in a fraction of a second after pressing of a calculate button. You can download the calculator through the link below
