Some years ago I met this other guy who was busy making calculations which I came to know later on that they were calculations for his pension. He was trying to come up with an estimate of the pension. It took him around 5 mins to find the estimate. I got interested in the calculations and I promised myself that one day I would come up with a calculator that will make the calculations faster and easy. The app was made few months ago and a lot of people have been using it.
Lately, I have been thinking of adding some new fields on the app so that pension calculation should be simplified further. The app has now been updated. A user can now enter the date when he or she started working for the Malawi government and the date he or she is retiring. This information is then used to estimate one’s pension.
